A Safe Haven costs about 4,000 dollars to equip.
That is the figure Worthy Australia works to. A woman and her children leave a violent home. They arrive at an empty rental. Worthy furnishes it: beds, linen, a table, a kettle, the things that turn four walls into somewhere you can sleep.
Since 2020 they have done this for 107 women and 320 children in Perth.
Retail, the same furniture would cost around 12,500 dollars. Worthy gets it done for 4,000 through donated stock, volunteers and buying well.
Why is a marketing agency writing about this?
Because the Australian Bureau of Statistics puts it plainly. About one in four Australian women has experienced violence, emotional abuse or economic abuse from a partner they lived with.
One in four. That is someone on your team, someone at your cellar door, someone who cleans your holiday house.
Worthy Australia is our charity partner. We chose them because the work is concrete. A home gets furnished or it does not.
So what is Paid to Post?
A two hour online workshop. Tuesday 17 November 2026, 10am Perth time.
It is for women who want to earn from a phone and an internet connection: as a content creator, as a social media manager, or as the person who finally runs the marketing for her own small business properly.
We cover how the work is actually bought and paid for, what a brand needs from you, how to price it, and what a return looks like for the business on the other side. Then how to make money from it while raising children, because that is the question most people are really asking.
Tickets are 35 dollars. Every dollar goes to Worthy Australia. Not a percentage. All of it.
What does 115 tickets buy?
One Safe Haven. That is the target. 115 women learning to earn, and one family walking into a furnished home.
Paid to Post is our part of Go Pink for Worthy, the campaign that asks Perth businesses to turn pink for a period of their choosing. Ours runs through November. Wear something pink to the session. There will be a donation code on screen for anyone who wants to give beyond the ticket.
Who should come?
Anyone who has been told she is good with her phone and wondered whether that is worth money. It is.
Anyone running a South West business who has been paying for content and would rather understand it.
Anyone who wants to give 35 dollars to Worthy and learn something in the same two hours.
Tickets open on 28 September. Details are on the Paid to Post page.
Two hours on a Tuesday. One furnished home. That is the whole idea.
